“Why the Five-fold Isn’t Folding”

He handed out gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, and pastor-teacher to train Christ’s followers in skilled servant work, working within Christ’s body, the church, until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God’s Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ. Ephesians 4:8-13

Last Watch Prayer - November 12, 2016

IC4U - Intensive Care for You, Inc. invites you to the Last Watch Prayer - Saturday, November 12, 2016. Join us for a time of worship, impartation, gift-stirring and soaking in His Spirit.

According to the Hebrew calendar (after Roman rule), a 24 hour day was divided into eight watches. There were four watches for the day and four watches for the night.

The Day Watches                                                                (sunrise) 6:00 am - 9:00 am, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm                      12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (sunset)

The Night Watches                                                                 (sunset) 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, 9:00 pm - 12:00 am                        12:00 am - 3:00 am, 3:00 am - 6:00 am (sunrise)

The fourth night watch (3:00 am - 6:00 am) is the last watch before the dawn of the new day. It is the time of a new day and approach for victory! We stand with other believers as we fervently implore God on behalf of the nation, region and His people. James 5:16, I Thessalonians 5:17

The Last Watch Prayer will be held at:
Open Door #5 COGIC located at 1103 East Ferry Street, Buffalo, NY 14211 - Elder Richard C. Woods, Sr. - Host Pastor

We will commune with God  during the fourth night watch (3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m). Calling for warriors, intercessors and generals to cry on behalf of His people.

12 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

13 So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.

14 Who knows if He will turn and repent,
And leave a blessing behind Him—
A grain offering and a drink offering
For the Lord your God?

17 Let the priests, who minister to the Lord,
Weep between the porch and the altar;
Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord,
And do not give Your heritage to reproach,
That the nations should rule over them.
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?’” Joel 2:12-14, 17

IC4U – Intensive Care for You, Inc. Press release

The success of a number of ministries can be attributed in part to its leaders and servant-families. Husbands, wives, and preacher’s kids are frequently overlooked and underappreciated for the sacrificial sharing of a leader yielded to the Kingdom call. Even with additional supports in place, staff can be inundated with time-consuming administrative tasks, often leaving little time to spiritually undergird their leaders. The IC4U vision and mission was seeded, conceptualized, and birthed to address stress challenges unique to those in ministry and support leadership positions read more
